NovationSi and RDAbbott recently introduced 21 middle school students to the rubber and polymers industry. The seventh graders from Roberts Middle School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, toured our Barberton Service Center performed a hands-on experiment where they created an oven-cured custom silicone molds using pigments and RTVs.

NovationSi recently hosted five members of the Summit Educational Service Center STEAM Leadership Cadre at the company’s Barberton Service Center. The July 8th tour immersed local educators in an environment where STEM is solving real-world challenges and providing employment opportunities.

NovationSi has named Steve Hersey Plant Manager. Prior to joining NovationSi, Hersey was the General Manager for HEXPOL Compounding in Akron, Ohio. While at HEXPOL, he managed substantial volume growth over four years and sales revenue experienced exponential growth during his tenure.
